Fuerteventura, Spain, January 2023. Jan & Jan-Jan's Rejseklubben

Again after a cold and dark winter, we needed the sun and a maximun of 5 hours flying time from Copenhagen, we desided that is was the Canary Islands again. And we wanted to try one of the islands that we hadent visited before, so the choice went to Fuerteventura. We had booked via Apollo Rejser our room at 'Coral Cotillo Beach' in 'El Cotillo', with the absolutely best breakfast in any of the hotels we have stayed in Europe, fantastic. But a few bad things about 'Coral Cotillo Beach Hotel' was, that we had booked a superrior room at the hotel, but our balcony was in the shadow all day, also the water in the bath, had to run for 10 min before theres was any warm water to take a shower in, and the power to the refrigerator was turned off when we left the room. We had booked a car via 'Hertz Car Rental' and picked it up at the airport. The first 4 days we had a lot of fun, and went out for sightseeing all over Fuerteventura, but then we ran out of places that we could go and experience, and got bored the last 3 days as neither of us are big water dogs, and we are too restless to lie on a beach or at a swimming pool.
