Through the travel agency Bravo Tours we booked cheap 1 week holiday, including airplane, hotel and breakfast for 2.600,00 d.kr (around 350,00 euro) at Hotel Ponta Delgada that is in the heart of the city of Ponta Delgada. Just 5 minutes by car from the airport and 5 minutes walking distance from the historical city center and various sights and commercial spaces of the city.

We had rente a car for the hole week, and picked it up at the airport. We went through the car to check for damage and found that there was no more tread on the tires and complained about it and then got another car, so our advice to others, check the tires on the car before driving it.

We were both very surprised at how lush and green the Azores are. Some absolutely stunning scenery to drive through, small winding roads all over the island of São Miguel.
