First time to Athens, Greece. Perfect weather in Athens, between 24 and 28 degrees every day, some different that the autum weather in Denmark. We had booked a room at Golden City Hotel, almost in the center of Athens, and it was an okay hotel, we had a small balcony. But the hotel was not located in the best place in Athens, there as a pusher street just across from the hotel, where the drugs where sold and people injecting stuff into them self, and a lot of homeless people sleeping in the streets. And we did not feel safe walking home to the hotel every evening, so we always walked longer way, to avoid the pusher street, to get to the hotel, in the evenings. The streets of Athens is filled with trash, and it was very dirty. 'Mount Lycabettus' is worth a visit, great view over Athens. The streets around Acropopolis was pretty clean. If you want to go to Athens, try and find a hotel in the Plaka area wich is the oldest section of Athens. Most of the streets have been closed to automobile traffic.
