First trip of the year with 'Rejseklubben', this time to Rhodes. Greece. We had booked our room at 'Hotel Europa' in the center og Rhodes, and it was a very nice hotel, with good service and a great breakfast. You can spend days walking around the old town of Rhodes, walking on the city walls was cool, and 'The Grandmasters Palace', is worth a visit. But our favorite place to drink a cold beer 'Nikolas Bistrot' in Rhodes Old Town is closed, after we have been there every year for more than 25 years. But Maria is working at 'Baluse Club', and Eleni is working at her fathers resturant 'Ntinos Taverna' and Eleni has opend a hotel 'D’Argento Boutique Rooms' right in the middel of the old town, stay at this Hotel if you ever go to Rhodes. If you are looking for a good restaurant in Rhodos Old Town, then try restaurant 'Mango', great food and fantastic service. A good place to eat in Rhodos town is 'Georges Special', very good food at a fair price. And also if you rent a car, and drive around on Rhodes, you should visit 'Christos Corner' in Monolithos, this is a fantastic family restaurant, with some of the best food on Rhodes.
